FITI GROUP Signs ESG Memorandum of Understanding with Mingde Community to Advance Local Sustainability and Biodiversity Conservation

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable development, FITI GROUP continues to collaborate with local partners to promote environmental conservation and community well-being. On July 20, FITI GROUP officially signed an ESG Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Mingde Community Development Association in Touwu Township, Miaoli County. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Hsinchu Branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency, Ministry of Agriculture, and the Miaoli County Environmental Protection Bureau, marking the establishment of a long-term partnership to jointly advance biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and sustainable community development..
This collaboration originated from the Corporate ESG Partnership Program initiated by the Miaoli County Environmental Protection Bureau, which connects businesses with local communities to foster sustainable cooperation. Under the MOU, both parties will focus on the Shuizhaixia Historic Trail and its surrounding ecological environment as the primary site for future initiatives, including ecological trail patrols, biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and corporate volunteer services. By combining corporate resources with community engagement, the partnership aims to establish a sustainable model that balances environmental conservation with local development..
Following the signing ceremony, representatives from FITI GROUP joined a guided tour led by local community interpreters to explore the Shuizhaixia Historic Trail and its surrounding ecosystem. During the visit, participants learned about the community's ongoing efforts in biodiversity conservation, habitat protection for *Cuora flavomarginata*, and environmental education, while also gaining a deeper appreciation of the area's natural resources and cultural heritage. Through this firsthand experience, FITI GROUP further strengthened its understanding of local sustainability initiatives and reinforced its commitment to creating shared value for business, communities, and the environment..
