The Company’s implementation of sustainability shall be guided by the following principles:
I. Corporate Governance
The Board of Directors shall ensure that sustainability objectives are integrated into corporate governance by:
(1) Defining a sustainability mission and vision, and adopting related policies, systems, and management guidelines.
(2) Integrating sustainability into business operations and strategic direction, and approving concrete implementation plans.
(3) Ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and reliability of sustainability-related disclosures.
(4) Providing regular education and training on sustainability for directors, management, and employees.
(5) Establishing a governance structure and designated (full-time/part-time) sustainability unit responsible for proposing and implementing sustainability policies, systems, and action plans, with regular reporting to the Board.
(6) Adopting a fair and reasonable remuneration policy aligned with corporate strategy and stakeholder interests, while linking employee performance evaluations to sustainability objectives, with clear reward and disciplinary mechanisms.
(7) Respecting stakeholder rights, identifying key stakeholders, maintaining a stakeholder engagement section on the Company’s website, and responding appropriately to material sustainability topics raised through effective communication channels.
II. Sustainable Environment
The Company shall establish an environmental management system consistent with industry characteristics, which shall include:
(1)Defining an environmental sustainability mission, vision, and management policies.
(2)Integrating environmental objectives into operations and strategic planning, with concrete action plans.
(3)Ensuring timeliness and accuracy in environmental disclosures.
(4)Establishing dedicated personnel or units for environmental management, responsible for policies, action plans, and regular environmental training.
(5)Considering ecological impacts in business operations, and promoting sustainable consumption by:
‧ Reducing the consumption of resources and energy in products and services.
‧ Minimizing the release of pollutants, toxic substances, and waste, and ensuring proper waste management.
‧ Enhancing the recyclability and reuse of raw materials or products.
‧ Maximizing the sustainable use of renewable resources.
‧ Extending product durability.
‧ Improving the performance and efficiency of products and services.
(6)Managing water resources responsibly, improving efficiency and ensuring sustainable use.
(7)Conducting GHG (Scope 1 & 2) inventories in accordance with internationally recognized standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064), disclosing results, and addressing climate change risks by formulating carbon reduction and energy efficiency strategies, including carbon credit acquisition where appropriate.
III. Social Responsibility
The Company shall fulfill its responsibility to respect and protect human rights through policies and due diligence processes covering:
(1) Human Rights and Equality
- Complying with relevant domestic and international laws, as well as international human rights conventions, ensuring gender equality, the right to work, and non-discrimination.
- Establishing human rights policies and management procedures, with regular review and updates.
- Assessing the impact of the Company’s operations and management activities on human rights and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Disclosing handling procedures and respond to stakeholders in cases of human rights violations.
- Respecting internationally recognized labor rights, including freedom of association, the right to collective bargaining, care for vulnerable groups, prohibition of child labor, elimination of forced labor, and prevention of employment discrimination.
- Ensuring fair human resource policies, without discrimination based on gender, race, age, marital status, or family circumstances.
- Providing equal employment conditions, compensation, benefits, training, performance evaluation, and promotion opportunities.
- Establishing a fair and transparent grievance mechanism to ensure employees can safely and effectively voice concerns and receive appropriate responses.
- Collaborating with charitable organizations to jointly promote sustainable community development.
(2) Labor Rights and Working Conditions
- Providing employees with information on labor rights under national law.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace with necessary emergency and protective measures.
- Conducting regular occupational health and safety training.
(3) Talent Development and Incentives
- Providing career development opportunities and capacity-building programs.
- Ensuring remuneration reflects company performance and supports talent recruitment, retention, and motivation.
(4) Labor Relations and Dialogue
- Establishing regular communication channels for employees to access information and express opinions.
- Respecting collective bargaining rights and providing necessary resources for labor representatives.
- Notifying employees reasonably in advance of major operational changes to protect their right to information and participation.
(5) Product Responsibility and Consumer Rights
- Ensuring marketing ethics, product responsibility, and transparent communication.
- Publishing consumer rights policies to safeguard health and safety.
- Guaranteeing product and service quality, and compliance with laws and international standards on marketing and labeling.
- Establishing effective consumer grievance mechanisms.
- Complying with data protection regulations to safeguard consumer privacy and personal data.
- Managing operational risks to reduce impacts on consumers and society.
(6) Supply Chain Responsibility
- Assessing procurement practices for social and environmental impacts.
- Conducting supplier due diligence to prevent association with environmental or human rights violations.
- Including sustainability clauses in major supplier contracts, with termination rights in case of significant negative impacts.
(7) Community Engagement and Public Welfare
- Evaluating company impacts on local communities, prioritizing local employment, and strengthening community relations.
- Supporting community education, development, and welfare through business activities, donations, volunteering, and philanthropic services.
- Collaborating with local governments, NGOs, educational, and charitable institutions to advance community sustainability.
IV. Sustainability Disclosure
The Company shall disclose sustainability information in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and recognized international standards, including:
(1) Public disclosure in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring materiality, relevance, and reliability of information.
(2) Policies, systems, and action plans approved by the Board.
(3) Risks and impacts of governance, environmental, and social practices on operations and financial performance.
(4) Sustainability objectives, measures, and performance results.
(5) Identification of key stakeholders and their concerns
(6) Supplier performance and management of material environmental and social issues.
(7) Publication of a sustainability report prepared in accordance with internationally recognized standards or guidelines, subject to third-party assurance to enhance reliability. Reports shall include:

‧ Stakeholder engagement and responses to material concerns.
‧ Governance, environmental, and social performance and review.
‧ Future improvement directions and targets.
