Earth Day 2026: FITI Hosts Luncheon on Sustainability and Biodiversity

To mark Earth Day 2026, FITI hosted the "Green and Fun Living" luncheon today, energizing its corporate sustainability culture and enhancing employee engagement through practical advocacy of low-carbon lifestyles.
Leadership and Alignment
With the participation of the CEO and senior executives, the event underscored FITI's commitment to ESG governance and climate action.
It also reinforced internal alignment and collective awareness toward sustainable management.
Social Engagement
As part of the program, FITI invited Mr. Wen-dar Shieh, Chairman of the Mingde Community and an MOE-certified environmental education lecturer, to share insights on low-carbon living and community-based sustainability practices.
The session covered topics including local agricultural use, beekeeping, and agri-food education, offering employees practical guidance on integrating sustainability into their daily lives.
Through this exchange, the event also demonstrated a sustainable partnership between FITI and the local community.
More than 60 employees participated and engaged in interactive discussions on sustainability topics.
Environmental Actions
The event highlighted carbon reduction through the integration of local low-carbon diets and agri-food education.
Plant-based meals were served to encourage low-carbon dietary choices.
In addition, a hands-on honey smoothie session featured fresh produce and honey sourced from the Mingde Community.
Participants gained a direct appreciation of local resource circularity and the "farm-to-table" concept, while supporting biodiversity and sustainable food systems.
Sustainability Commitment
By combining knowledge sharing with hands-on experience, FITI continues to embed sustainability into daily workplace practices.
Participants noted that the event not only supported the adoption of low-carbon habits but also strengthened their environmental awareness and sense of responsibility.
